Hochschule Fresenius Idstein - Promoting young talents

Linda Liesum is a lecturer at the Fresenius University of Applied Sciences in Idstein. With the module "Preparing reports and expert opinions", she teaches students the necessary skills to be able to successfully present expert opinions or represent them in court later on.

One of the most important competences of experts is to

  • Know the formal requirements for an expert report, as well as those for an expert presentation.
  • be familiar with the linguistic and rhetorical peculiarities of a criminal trial
  • be rhetorically fit
  • Know the procedures of a court hearing and their role as an expert witness as well as all other actors.
  • be able to take criticism and be communicative

With Linda Liesum as lecturer, students enjoy the advantage that theory meets practice. The learning content is taught and practised in seminar-style lectures and exercises, so that you are not only prepared for the exam, but for reality. This is because Linda Liesum can draw on her own expertise and report from practice.

This form of promoting young people is very close to Linda Liesum's heart. Her particular goal is to support young people in such a way that they have an easy entry into the world of work and any teething problems do not arise in the first place.

Looking forward with joy to the new semester!
